Rustic Door Knobs
Lovely distressed antique nickel rustic door knobs. The “distressed antique nickel” these CR 1756-COV Door Knobs are shown in, is very similar in appearance to pewter, but cast brass and plated in nickel. The finish is the same as standard antique nickel knobs, but the metal is slightly pitted, rather than smooth, giving a more rustic appearance.
This style of door knob is called a “ball knob” - a plain round design, often seen in period properties, making these perfect for any vintage home.
The ball knobs in the photo are mounted on a “covered” rose (this means that they have a cover plate, to hide the fixing screws), for a more aesthetically pleasing appearance. These roses are available in three styles: plain, stepped or reeded. The knobs in the photo are on a “plain” rose.
Each door knob is British made, individually finished by hand and available in over twenty finishes, so can suit a more rustic property with finishes such as these antique nickel ones, all the way through antique and aged brass and real bronze, all the way through to contemporary finishes, such as polished nickel and chrome.
